研究の背景 Background


Conductive wirings are designed to achieve high signal integrity on rigid printed circuit board (PCB). Recently, properties such as mechanical flexibility and stretchability are being expected on the wirings to address wearable electronics requirements on deformations arising from bending, twisting, stretching, and compressing caused by human interaction with the electronic structures.

研究の目標 Outcome


In this research, materials and process techniques for stretchable and flexible wirings are developed. With optical transparency, such soft wirings are expected to apply on displays, touch panels, etc. and to keep appearance of clothes for wearable electronics.
