研究の背景 Background


For the realization of sustainable society, highly efficient energy conversion/storage technologies are essential. In energy materials, defect species significantly affect their functionality. For the innovation of energy technologies, new strategies for the material development based on defect engineering is needed.

研究の目標 Outcome


To establish rational guidelines and techniques for the innovation of energy functional materials based on flexible control of defect species, in this work, we work on two research topics: (1) revealing roles of anion defects in energy materials and (2) developing the flexible anion defect control techniques. This work will greatly contribute to the development of energy conversion/storage technologies, and consequently, to the establishment of sustainable and environmentally friendly society.
